Boosting Your Phonetizer Productivity: New Shortcuts and Layout Fixes!

We’re excited to announce two small but mighty updates to Phonetizer.com that will make your transcription workflow smoother and faster than ever!

1. Quick Conversion with Keyboard Shortcuts

Tired of reaching for your mouse every time you finish typing? We hear you! We’ve improved our keyboard shortcuts to ensure they work exactly when you need them.

You can now trigger the Convert action instantly while your cursor is still in the text box.

  • On Mac: Press Cmd + Enter
  • On Windows/Linux: Press Ctrl + Enter

We’ve also added a helpful tooltip to the “Convert” button, so the shortcut is always a hover away if you forget.

2. No More Searching: The “Always-Visible” IPA Panel

We’ve completely overhauled the IPA symbol frame layout. Previously, the panel was limited in height, which meant you often had to scroll or use arrow keys to find that specific sound you were looking for.

Now, the IPA symbol frame automatically enlarges to fit all symbols based on your screen size. Whether you’re on a laptop or a big monitor, every symbol is visible at a glance. No more wasted time searching—just click and transcribe!

These updates were inspired directly by user feedback. We’re committed to making Phonetizer the fastest tool for your phonetic needs.
