New Feature: Focus on Your Text with the Collapsible History Pane

We are excited to announce a subtle but powerful update to the Phonetizer interface that makes your transcription workflow smoother and more focused than ever.

A Cleaner Workspace

Starting today, the History pane on Desktop and Tablet is collapsed by default.

Phonetizer has always been about speed and precision, and we realized that most of the time, you just want to get straight to transcribing. By hiding the history by default, we’ve cleared away the clutter, giving your source text and transcription results the center stage they deserve.

One-Click Access

Need to revisit a recent transcription? No problem. We’ve added a sleek new History toggle in the control bar. Look for the clock icon at the top left of your workspace.

  • Click once to reveal your saved notes and history.
  • Click again to tuck it away when you’re done.

Why the Change?

  • Improved Focus: Minimize distractions and maximize the space for your active text.
  • Better Layout: The source and result panes now intelligently expand to fill the screen, making it easier to work with longer paragraphs.
  • Intuitive Design: The new icon makes it clearer exactly where your past work is stored.

Whether you’re a teacher preparing materials or a student practicing pronunciation, we hope this update makes your time on Phonetizer even more productive.

Happy Transcribing!
